Health Certificates required. Must be registered owner & make entry in the exact name shown on the registration certificate, if not you must provide a permission to show letter from the owner. All llamas must be ILR registered to count towards the ILR Universal Awards Program. If you have animals entered into the ILR Incentive Fund, your ILR points earned will also bring you payback from ILR. If you want your ILR points to count for the ILR UAP, both Youth and Open exhibitors need to be 2008 ILR members. Non breeders must be accompanied by a veterinarian certificate verifying. Halter classes: Animal age as of May 3, 2008, once an animal hits their day of birth, they move up. Juvenile: 5-12mo. Yearling: 13-24 months. Two year old and over: 25 months and over. Wool Descriptions: Suri: Lustrous, cool hand, lack of crimp and minimal loft, locked fiber that drapes over the llamas body. Fibers are grouped in distinctive, defined lock structure. Light wool: Minimum to moderate body wool, shorter neck wool, smooth legs. Medium wool: moderate to long body wool, minimal to moderate neck wool, smooth to moderate leg wool. Heavy wool: abundant body & neck wool with moderate to abundant leg wool. Enter your animals in their proper wool divisions. Produce Of Dam: 2 offspring from the dam. Get of Sire: 3 offspring from same sire, out of 2 different dams. All Get & Produce entries must show in appropriate halter classes. If not owner of Sire or Dam in Get or Produce classes must bring written permission from owner. Nursing mothers may not be accompanied into the ring by their cria. All Miniature Llamas must be 38 inches and under at the withers and will be measured at the show. Performance classes: ILR Novice points will be tracked, once 35 points are earned, animals must then compete in advanced. All advanced performance animals from other associations, must be shown in advanced. Only 2 entries per handler/open /Novice/ performance class. An animal can only go through each OB, PR, or Pack class one time. Youth may enter youth or open, not both, 1 entry/youth in all youth performance classes. Junior Youth: 13 years and under. Senior Youth: 14-18 years old. Youth age as of January 1st, 2008. There must be 8 within a division to count towards ILR UAP Championships. This show will pay ILR $50 for use of the ILR Show Manager and $1 per llama, youth, or adult showman for ILR UAP points. This fee is already incorporated into your show fee. No extra fees or numbers required for the tracking of points for ILR members and ILR llamas. This show is being run with rules in place and experienced personnel. Fairness will be offered in all performance classes. If you have any questions at all, do not hesitate to call or email me and you will get the answers you need. The only stalls allowed to be assigned are for prearranged Gold & Silver Show Sponsors.
